Born and raised in Emmett, Ryan is the son of local fire chief Rick Welch and sheriff department employee Laurie Vaughn. Graduating from Emmett High School in 1994, Ryan continued his community work in his families locally owned Ford dealership. Ryan worked at Emmett Ford for his grandparents David and Terry Vaughn until it was sold in 2003. After the Emmett dealership closed, Ryan found another part manager position at yet another locally owned dealership. Ryan worked at Bill Buckner when he met his wife Malissa. Joining families Ryan has three children; step-son Troy, step-daughter Brooke, and son Brady. All kids have been and are currently active in sports and clubs throughout the Emmett school district. Ryan enjoys supporting, helping and cheering them on during their events. Ryan and his family also enjoy hunting, fishing and going to events around town. Ryan is very excited and determined to begin his new career in real estate. He has been interested in joining the team for quite some time, and now is fulfilling one of his dreams.
